Coronado Cuarto Centennial Commission collection, 1925-1941 (bulk 1935-1940).

This collection contains material from 1925-1941 with the bulk dated from 1935-1940. The majority of the collection concerns the New Mexico Coronado Cuarto Centennial celebration. Also present is material for the Arizona and United States commissions. There are financial records, donations, memorabilia, committee reports, photographs, conference information and publications. The collection contains publicity items from magazines, newspapers and radio programs. It includes information on dramatic presentations, and tourism promotions for the events. There are programs from various folk festivals and pageants from around New Mexico. Correspondence of various people and organizations concerning the celebration, such as Erna Fergusson, Clyde Tingley, Dennis Chavez, James Zimmerman, Clinton P. Anderson, and LULAC are included; as well as copies of speeches by James F. Zimmerman, and Clinton P. Anderson.
